Pastor Killian, goes by “PK” for short serves with an encouraging, upbeat, and passionate energy rooted in the conviction that a healthy church is a thriving church. Holding a Master of Divinity and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Pastor Killian brings a rich background spanning pastoral leadership, prison ministry, executive management, and over 32 years as a martial artist. Recognized as an Iowa Character Counts Citizen of the Year, his heart for ministry centers on leading with grace, empowering individuals to discover their God given gifts, and cultivating a vibrant, Christ centered community where people feel seen, valued, and restored. Through solid biblical teaching, intentional discipleship, and relational leadership, he constantly points people back to scripture with his foundational question, "What does the Bible say?" He leads with the core vision of GGYB³ reminding the congregation to trust that God’s Got Your Back, encouragement to Go Get Your Bible, and an invitation to Give God Your Best.  

At the center of PK’s life is his family. He and his wife, Tanya, are blessed with a deeply connected household that includes their daughter Emma and her husband John, their son Elijah and his wife Kennedy, and their son Gabriel and his wife Riley, along with adopted sons Michael and Kevin. They are also the proud grandparents of two cherished grandchildren, JuJu and Oliver, and love spending time with their two dogs, Ragnar and Loki. Outside of ministry, PK and his family love spending time outdoors hiking and camping. PK is also an avid competitive shooter, a master at the grill, and loves playing games with family and friends. Above all, whether leading in ministry, mentoring others, or gathering around the table, Pastor Killian is committed to serving Christ wholeheartedly, loving unconditionally, and sharing the hope of the Gospel with everyone he encounters.

William Bender, affectionately known as Elder Bill, has faithfully served the New Hope family for four years. Driven by a deep love for Jesus, he brings vibrant, contagious joy and an unmistakable laugh to everyone he encounters. Before running his own appliance repair business, Elder Bill built a strong professional background in electronics and manufacturing with Macke Corporation. Today, he channels that same dedication and hands on skill into serving the Kingdom. He possesses a genuine passion for youth discipleship, actively teaching and empowering the next generation with the truth of the Gospel. Elder Bill’s heart for outreach is rooted in a simple mission: to serve others, share Christ, and guide people closer to the Cross, encouraging every believer to cultivate a personal testimony, pray steadfastly, and pursue the Father's love.

At home, Elder Bill is happily married to the love of his life, Dona, with whom he has shared 53 wonderful years. Together, they have built a Christ centered family that includes their two daughters, Emily and Amanda, their beloved grandson, Alexander, and two lively dogs, Rusty and Cassie. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, watching racing alongside Dona, and tinkering in his garage. Looking ahead, Elder Bill is passionate about establishing a robust church security team to protect the flock, mentoring outreach teams that reflect the heart of Jesus, and extending care to the most vulnerable including local seniors in care facilities and hospice, the homeless, widows, orphans, and the youth.

Jason Genrich is a proud veteran having retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service. Jason has been passionately serving the church in various capacities for nearly three decades across four continents, 15 countries, and eight states. Jason brings extensive experience as both a servant and servant leader of the church and has coupled this with scholastic training in the Bible and Theology from Liberty University. Jason combines his leadership and organizational skills obtained and refined over a unique military career with his passion for Christ and spreading the Gospel.

Jason’s ministry is centered first on Christ and then on his home, demonstrating the foundation of servant leadership Scripture expects of every church leader. Jason and his wife, Jenny, have been married for 25 years. Jason and Jenny have two fur babies; one loving and hyper active pocket pit bull named Sweet Pea, and one cuddly short hair Flame Lynx Ragdoll named Teddy. Outside of ministry, Jason prioritizes spending time with his wife those in his family circle. Jenny also has extensive experience as a servant and servant leader within the church. She has lead ministries as well as a member under others leadership. Jenny brings a unique aspect of service having grown up as a Pastor's daughter. Jason and Jenny love playing games with family and friends, traveling, and are huge foodies. Their greatest passions are (1) drawing closer in their relationship with God through biblical study and prayer, (2) serving Christ and others with love, grace, and mercy, and (3) strengthening the bonds with their family circle.

Chris Pelletier and his wife, Leslie, were baptized on Christmas Day in 2010 and have been dedicated to serving Christ ever since. A military veteran, Chris brings extensive leadership experience in managing teams and strategic resources toward a unified mission. He pairs that operational discipline with a heart for discipleship, particularly in mentoring the next generation through youth ministry. Outside of his leadership roles, Chris is an avid outdoorsman and a skilled maker who enjoys 3D printing and laser engraving, creative talents he utilizes both as a side business and to craft custom projects for New Hope.

Chris is deeply grateful for his wife, Leslie, whose shared love story spans three continents, a journey made possible through God's grace and providence. Together, they are raising two active sons, Ezekiel (13) and Zechariah (11), who frequently serve alongside their father at New Hope. Rounding out the family is Buddy, their friendly puppy, who can often be spotted lending a cheerful presence during off-hours around the church.
